CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
14th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF BALTICISTS
VILNIUS UNIVERSITY
October 22–25, 2025
We are pleased to invite Workshop proposals on current topics in Baltic linguistics for the 14th International Congress of Balticists. The International Congress of Balticists takes place every five years, alternating between Vilnius and Riga. In 2025, it will be hosted at Vilnius University.
The workshops should be organized by groups of two to three scholars, who will prepare a description of the workshop outlining the main issues to be addressed. The workshop organizers are asked to submit their proposals by completing the relevant form on the Congress homepage. Once accepted, they will be responsible for publishing a call for papers, evaluating the submitted proposals, and informing the organizing committee of their decisions.
Deadlines:
- Submission of workshop proposals: by December 15, 2024
- Notification of accepted workshops: by January 15, 2025
The Call for Papers for accepted workshops will be published in January 2025.
